In Outdoor Experience and Education
Hooksum Outdoor School is proud to host a number of school and youth groups each year. Some school and youth groups have visited Hooksum annually for over ten years. School and youth programs range from 3 days to 2 weeks in length. Participant and student ages range from eight to eighty.

"The Britannia Outreach/Streetfront Hooksum Outdoor School Camp Trip 2007 was an amazing experience for students and staff. The Hooksum Outdoor School family of Karen and Steven Charleson, their daughter Missy (Estella), son-in-law Alex, and Alex’s children (and Steven and Karen’s grandchildren), Wayne (13) and Tiana (6) are a living example of how, before contact and colonialism, multigenerational families shared a longhouse and a life together.
